You all have some understanding of friction and in particular can say that it occurs when 2 surfaces rub together. For this investigation you will observe a wooden block being pulled across different surfaces while observing and recording how much force was needed to do this. When you have completed this infestigation you will use your findings and some further research to construct more detailed knowledge about the force of friction.
